FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an article made of laminated polymer foam and a method of making same. The article made of polymer foam comprises at least two thermoplastic polymer foams in a layered orientation. Each of the thermoplastic polymer foams comprises: an adjoining surface having a polymer external layer, a thickness dimension perpendicular to the adjoining surface, perforations which are less than one millimetre in diameter, which pass through the adjoining surface to a depth less than the thickness dimension of the foam.
