<p>An O-ring expansion joint is composed of a pair of flow flanges which is combined with two adjacent pipes respectively. The pair of flow flanges is composed of an outer tube flange and an inner tube flange. The end unit of the inner tube flange is inserted into the end unit of the outer tube flange in order to reciprocate horizontally. One or more O-rings are placed on the outer circumference of the end unit of the inner tube flange in order to maintain sealing properties between the outer tube flange and the inner tube flange. The O-ring expansion joint can provide a simple structure without any bolt for narrowing a gap, can be installed in a small space by minimizing an interfacial interval, and can be manufactured at low costs.</p> |
