PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a fiber board which enables production of a fiber board excellent in strength, surface smoothness and water resistance by using a powder resin.SOLUTION: A method of producing a fiber board 5 includes a fibrillation step (1) of fibrillating a composite body 3 containing a fiber material 1 and a powder resin 2 to obtain a fiber mat 4, a vibration application step (2) of applying vibration to the fiber mat 4 to deposit the powder resin 2 in the fiber mat 4 downward and a molding step (3) of arranging oppositely two fiber mats 4 after the vibration application step so that the surfaces of the fiber mats 4 distributed with more powder resin 2 are mutually located outward to form a laminate T and subjecting the laminate T to heat pressure molding so as to produce the fiber board 5. |
