<p>The invention relates to a construction implement consisting of a straightedge for building walls, which, as well as a metal stanchion (2) with a square cross-section, comprises: a horizontal brace (3) connected to the stanchion by a first hinged connection (4); a front rod (5) which is connected, by means of a second hinged connection (6), to the distal end of the brace (3) or to a supporting plate (10), on one end, and to the stanchion (2), on the opposite end, by means of a third hinged connection (7), said front rod being longitudinally adjustable for the attachment thereof; and a side rod (9) which is connected to the stanchion (2), on one end, by means of a rotary hinge (11) that can rotate in order to arrange said rod on either side of said stanchion (2), and which has a tip, on the opposite end, for support on the ground, said side rod (9) also having means for adjusting the length thereof.</p> |
