The present invention relates to a smart key system and an operating method thereof. According to the present invention, the smart key system prevents determination errors which determine the existence of a fob even when a fob registered to a vehicle does not exist by reflecting the intensity of an RF noise confirmed in an area where the RF noise is strong on a reference of determining an indoor/outdoor location of a fob; and the phenomenon of slowing down a response to a motion in accordance to a user′s request. |
