<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of preventing the overheating in the vicinity of a fiber emission end. <P>SOLUTION: Provided is a laser device equipped with a fiber optical amplifier or a fiber laser which has an optical fiber 231 with a double-clad structure, and from which laser light propagating in a core is emitted after being amplified. At an emission end of the optical fiber 231, a first clad exposed portion 51 is formed from which a second clad 231c is removed and a first clad 231b is exposed, and outer end members 52a and 52b are provided to cover the first clad exposed portion 51. A refractive index matching member 55 having a refractive index approximate to that of the first clad is filled between the outer end members and the outer peripheral surface of the first clad. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
