PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid pump capable of merging together a fluid while inhibiting disturbance of a flow, loss of the flow, etc. of an intake fluid.SOLUTION: In a fluid pump comprising: a housing H; a rotary shaft 30; and pump units 70 and 80 accommodated in the housing H, driven to rotate by the rotary shaft 30, and taking in, pressurizing, and discharging the flow, the housing H includes an intake path 14b introducing a fluid from an intake port 14a to the pump units 70 and 80; a discharge path 15a introducing the fluid from the pump units 70 and 80 to a discharge port 15b; a return path 16 returning a part of the fluid flowing in the discharge path 15a to an upstream side of each of the pump units 70 and 80; and a control valve 90 controlling a flow of the returned fluid. The return path 16c is formed so as to introduce the returned fluid to the same flow direction as that of the intake fluid flowing in the intake path 14b to merge the returned fluid with the intake fluid. This can achieve improvement in pump efficiency while inhibiting disturbance of the flow, loss of the flow, and the like. |
