PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen production method and a hydrogen production system capable of improving the recovery rate of hydrogen.SOLUTION: One embodiment of the hydrogen production method in this method comprises: a first step of generating hydrogen by the dehydrogenation of an organic halide; and a second step of separating the hydrogen dissolved in the liquid of an organic compound generated by the dehydrogenation from the liquid. One embodiment of the hydrogen production system in this invention comprises: a dehydrogenation reactor 2 of generating hydrogen and an organic compound by the dehydrogenation of an organic halide; and a gas-liquid separator (deaerator 8) of separating the hydrogen dissolved in the liquid of the organic compound from the liquid. |
