<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge system which allows a user who attempts dishonest means related to a cartridge to fall in with worthless troubles.SOLUTION: A device 2 comprises a cartridge 1 having an IC chip part 10 for storing numerical information such as residual quantity information and use amount information and identification information. The IC chip part 10 or the device 2 has alteration correction means for determining alteration of the numerical information, and recovering the altered numerical information. The device 2 is a printing device or has communication means for communicating with the IC chip part 10 by serial communication.</p> |
