The interior of a cylindrical contact holder (111) of this female terminal (100) houses a cylindrical contact member (120) into which a pin-shaped male terminal is inserted from the front. The contact member (120) has a diameter-adjustable part (125) comprising a plurality of metal wires (125a), both ends of which are supported by front-side and rear-side support rings (121, 122). The metal wires are pressure-welded to the male terminal by forming a hyperboloid from the plurality of metal wires (125a), by twisting the diameter-adjustable part (125) by turning a rotatable ring (130) which integrally rotates with the front-side support ring (122). |
