<p>The present invention relates to a new clamp device which can perform powerful and precise sudden braking by significantly improving an automatic clamp (brake); a key element of rotational control among the functions of an index table capable of performing high-speed and high-accuracy driving can maintain a long life and excellent functionality by minimizing failure and malfunction; and can contribute remarkably to the improvement of safety and reliability. During braking or releasing of the clamp device installed in a high-speed index table, a wedge automatic braking device (300) can clamp by widening strongly as much as the strength of a (forward) linear push, and can release breaking when necessary by being easily pulled out, thereby improving clamping performance and reliability. Therefore, on one side of a rotary shaft (102) installed in the lower part of a rotational driving unit, when a brake piston (320) performs a fine up and down motion by the input of a fixed hydraulic and pneumatic pressure, the strong clamping of a wedge pressurizing holder can effectively perform a sudden braking on a brake pad (310). When the braking ends, the pressurization is automatically released.</p> |
