PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve long-distance hot migration of virtual machines.SOLUTION: A virtual machine management device 21 comprises a delay storage unit 22 measuring and storing delay time between a plurality of management units 13 which manage virtual machines 14, a path extraction unit 23 extracting a movement path from a movement source management unit 13 to a movement destination management unit 13 whose delay time between management units 13 becomes lower than a threshold, on the basis of the delay time between the management units 13 stored in the delay storage unit 22, and a movement control unit 24 sequentially moving the virtual machines 14 from the movement source management unit 13 to the movement destination management unit 13 along the movement path without stopping operation of the virtual machines 14. |
