PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect biological information in a vehicle seat capable of detecting the biological information by making it easier for a required motion of the body of an occupant to be transmitted to a biological sensor, while maintaining functions originally required for the vehicle seat.SOLUTION: A biological sensor capable of detecting a respiratory state or heartbeat state that are biological information of the sitting occupant is disposed correspondingly to a middle part in the crosswise direction of the back of the sitting occupant between a back pad and a seat skin on the occupant sitting side in a seat back part. A seat skin 30 is subjected to tension by being drawn by an insert wire 31 housed in a hanging groove 20A of the back pad. A hanging cotton cloth 33 to be locked to the insert wire 31 is attached to a part of the seat skin 30 which is located opposite to the hanging groove 20A. A material having higher flexibility than the seat skin 30 is used for the hanging cotton cloth 33 so that the biological information of the sitting occupant is easily transmitted to the biological sensor. |
