<p>The present invention relates to a wireless communication device and a network connection control method thereof for reducing the power consumption of the wireless communication device and the load of a network. The network connection control method of the wireless communication device includes a process for detecting data transmission, a process for determining work context for data transmission according to work information based on when the data is transmitted, and a process for selectively terminating a channel connection between the wireless communication device and an external network based on a network use model corresponding to the work context. The work context indicates a list of jobs which are sequentially performed in the wireless communication device, and a network use model indicates the data transmission tendency or reception tendency of the wireless communication device.</p> |
