PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life battery arranged so as not to cause a remarkable drop in output.SOLUTION: A battery comprises: an active material layer; an electrolyte; a resin separator; and an electrolyte-holding layer directly held by the active material layer and the resin separator therebetween. The quantity of the electrolyte held by the electrolyte-holding layer is 20-60μL per square meters thereof.
