<p>A standard surgical band 1 is provided for preventing an anti-embolism stocking from falling down. The band is placed directly onto a patients leg with the stocking pulled over a Velcro (RTM) front holding it in place. Air hole vents 5 may be provided, which allow for breathability and a measuring guide 7 may also be provided for monitoring swelling. Extended fastenings may be provided, which also have a strip of Velcro (RTM) on their underside which grips directly onto an anti-embolism stocking (fig 4).</p> |
