PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile electronic device that has high ease of operation and is carried easily. SOLUTION: The mobile electronic device includes: a device body 1; a first image display panel 10 disposed on a surface of the device body 1; a pair of second image display panels 20, 30; and a connection mechanism. The pair of second image display panels 20, 30 overlaps with an image display surface 11 of the first image display panel 10, and a light-transmitting touch panel for input is provided on an image display surface of the respective second image display panels 20, 30. The connection mechanism connects the second image display panel 20 to the device body 1 slidably for reciprocating along a prescribed path on the image display surface 11 of the first image display panel 10. The device body 1 includes: a posture detector for detecting posture of the device body 1; and a changer for changing directions of images displayed on the first image display panel 10 and the second image display panels 20, 30 according to the posture detected by the posture detector.
