PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recommend a program matching a hobby and a taste of a viewer based upon experience, knowledge, etc., of the viewer. SOLUTION: A recommended program presentation device includes: a feature analytic dictionary storage part 602 which stores feature words of the viewer; a presentation program explanation information acquisition part 603 which takes in selected presentation program explanation information; a keyword extraction part 604 which extracts a keyword through comparison between the feature words of the viewer and the presentation program explanation information; a similar program explanation information acquisition part 605 which takes in a plurality of pieces of similar program explanation information similar to the presentation program explanation information; a recommended program selection part 606 which calculates scores indicative of statistical correlation of the keyword with the plurality of pieces of similar program explanation information, and selects recommended program content data out of a plurality of pieces of similar program content data based upon the scores; and a recommended program related information output part 607 which outputs recommended program identification information corresponding to the recommended program content data.
