PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely bring a container-side terminal into contact with a main-body-side terminal and to arrange a developing unit in a proper position with respect to an image carrier.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an apparatus main body 2 including an image carrier 7; a developing unit 11; and a toner container 5. The apparatus main body 2 includes a main-body-side connector 24 including a main-body-side terminal and a main-body-side housing 25 holding the main-body-side connector 24. The toner container 5 includes a container-side connector 78 including a container-side terminal and a container-side housing 79 holding the container-side connector 78. In such a state that the developing unit 11 is attached to the apparatus main body 2, the developing unit 11 can be moved in the approaching and separating direction with respect to the image carrier 7. In such a state that the developing unit 11 is attached to the apparatus main body 2 and the toner container 5 is attached to the developing unit 11, the container-side housing 79 is fitted to the main-body-side housing 25 and the container-side terminal comes into contact with the main-body-side terminal. |
