PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analyzer which continues analysis of communication related to packet data even when the packet data is discarded.SOLUTION: Copy packet data generated by mirroring of packet communication of each of servers A and B and servers C and D belongs to sessions s1-s4 and sessions s5-s11, respectively. These copy packet data are transmitted to a port 16P14. When a total amount of the packet data exceeds the amount of packet data that the port 16P14 can temporary store, the excess packet data (belonging to the session s11) is discarded. The packet data belonging to the session s11 of the discarded packet data is transmitted from a port 16P23 of a switch 2SW2 to an analyzer 10. Since the analyzer 10 can receive packet data of the session corresponding to the discarded packet data if the packet data is discarded, analysis of the communication of the session can be continued. |
