PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device including a current interrupter, in which possibility of reconduction is reduced.SOLUTION: A power storage device includes a current interrupter for interrupting the energizing path between an electrode assembly in a case and an external terminal exposed to the outside of the case when the internal pressure of the case exceeds a predetermined level. The current interrupter includes an energizing plate conducting with one of the electrode assembly and external terminal, and a contact plate conducting with the other of the electrode assembly and external terminal and arranged to face the energizing plate and provided, on the apical surface thereof, with a protrusion coming into contact with the energizing plate. Both ends or the circumference of the contact plate are fixed to a frame so that the contact plate jumps to separate from the energizing plate, upon receiving a load exceeding a predetermined threshold load, to cause a shape change by buckling. In a cross section perpendicular to the apical surface, a flange continuous to the proximal part of the protrusion and the side face of the protrusion form an acute angle, or a proximal flange continuous to the proximal part of the protrusion is curved so as to protrude in a direction separating from the energizing plate. |
