PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that is attached to underwear or disposable diaper in order to absorb urine and is used, in which the leakproof action of leakproof wall parts is exhibited reliably.SOLUTION: A body part 1s of an absorbent article 1 comprises an absorbent core 11 and a liquid permeable surface sheet 21, and leakproof wall parts 40 are provided at each end in the width direction of the body part, respectively. A height regulation structure is provided for regulating a height in a vertical direction of a middle position of a skin side face of the body part at the lapse of three minutes after completion of third dropping treatment becomes lower than a height in the vertical direction of the leakproof wall part in a cross section along the width direction including the middle position, when three times of dropping treatment for dropping simulated urine of 60 g at a dropping rate of 20 g/sec are performed at five minute intervals in the middle position in both directions of a width direction and a longitudinal direction of the body part, in such a state that the absorbent article under the unloaded condition where no external force acts thereon is left at rest on a horizontal plane while the skin side is directed upward. |
