PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polyurethane foam for cosmetic coating which entails a scarce infiltration of a liquid foundation, which induces no caking of a powdery foundation, and which affords a favorable use sensation.SOLUTION: On a mechanical foaming occasion by using a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer, and an inert gas in the provided method for manufacturing a polyurethane foam for cosmetic coating, a substance not only including at least 30 mass% of a bifunctional polyol having a terminal hydroxyl group primarization ratio of 70% or above and a number-average molecular weight of 1000-3000 but also having a total polyol terminal hydroxyl group average primarization ratio of 50% or above is used as the polyol, whereas the polyisocyanate is used within an isocyanate index range of 85-130, whereas the supply volume, in terms of volume at 0°C at 1 atm, of the inert gas is 2 to 10 equivalents of the total supply volume of liquid ingredients. |
