PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varistor life detection device etc., capable of reducing a circuit scale.SOLUTION: A varistor life detection device 11 comprises: a dielectric noise receiving unit 30 for receiving noise caused by a surge applied to a varistor 21; a noise detection unit 41 for detecting the noise received by the dielectric noise receiving unit 30; a varistor life verification unit 42 for verifying the life of the varistor 21 on the basis of the magnitude of the noise detected by the noise detection unit 41 and the number of times the noise was detected; and an alarm transmission unit 43 for outputting alarm information when the varistor 21 was verified to have reached its life by the varistor life verification unit 42. |
