PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to detect a position of an input medium having a magnetic element using a magnetic sensor.SOLUTION: A position detector 3 comprises: a plurality of magnetic sensors 5 arranged in a planar fashion at predetermined arrangement intervals and each detecting a magnetic force of a magnetic element 1; a magnetic detection information acquisition unit 702 acquires magnetic detection results of the magnetic sensors 5 as well as identification information on the magnetic sensors 5 as magnetic detection information; and a position detection unit 703 detecting a position of an input medium 2 on the basis of the magnetic detection information acquired by the magnetic detection information acquisition unit 702. |
