The present invention relates to a device for extracting a spam group and a method thereof capable of preventing fair trade and decision making through message propagation of an intentional slander purpose for other companies (other persons, other products, etc.) on a social network service. The device for extracting the spam group comprises: a data collecting unit which collects data corresponding to the social network service; a natural language processing unit which preprocesses the data by using a natural language processing algorithm based on big data; an unusual action detecting unit which detects an unusual action based on user ID corresponding to the preprocessed data; and a spam extracting unit which extracts the spam group by using the user ID which leads to the unusual action and the ID of a user group comprising the user ID.
