<p>The present invention relates to an arrester (lightning arrester). More particularly, the present invention relates to a molybdenum arrester which is used as a low voltage arrester device for a communications device such as an antenna; is applicable as an arrester device for a ZnO alternative next generation power protection transfer device; may improve the stability of a power system by a semi-permanent characteristic of the device; and may improve a protection function of the communications device by a low voltage operation. The molybdenum arrester according to the present invention includes: a plurality of molybdenum oxides which are serially connected to each other; a ceramic material insulator which surrounds the molybdenum oxides; and a conductive electrode which covers the top ends and bottom ends of the molybdenum oxides. Gaps between the molybdenum oxides and the insulator are filled with SiO_2 arc materials.</p> |
