A rotary electrical device (100) provided with: a stator iron core (41); a rotor (20) having a laminated core (25) disposed within the stator iron core (41) and composed of laminated electromagnetic steel plates, and also having iron core clamps (21a, 21b) for covering both ends of the laminated core (25); a frame (15) having a cylindrical section and a rotor shaft support section, the cylindrical section enclosing the stator iron core (41) and the rotor (20), and the rotor shaft support section extending in the direction of a rotor shaft (24) and supporting the rotor shaft (24); and cartridges (5a, 5b) detachably mounted on the rotor shaft support section and adapted to rotatably support the rotor shaft (24). The peripheral areas of the iron core clamps (21a, 21b) are provided with indents (23a, 23b) for fitting the end sections (34a, 34b, 53) of tools (30a, 30b, 50) into which the cartridges (5a, 5b) are detachably inserted through the rotor shaft support section. |
