<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap plate and a secondary battery including the cap plate.SOLUTION: A cap plate for sealing a case that receives an electrode assembly includes: a cover portion for covering the electrode assembly; a support portion off-set along a first direction from the cover portion and having first thickness; and a strength reinforcement portion for connecting the cover portion and the support portion, having processing thickness thicker than the first thickness. The first thickness and the processing thickness are measured along the first direction. Thus, sufficient strength against various pressures applied during assembling and driving can be secured, and a sufficient mounting space for mounting a circuit component for controlling charging/discharging operation can be secured.</p> |
