<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an automatic transmission by which the automatic transmission equipped with a transmission passage including a continuously variable transmission mechanism and a transmission passage including a gear transmission mechanism in parallel is controlled, and which can prevent the occurrence of noises and vibration and the degradation of durability performance when transmitting power via the gear transmission mechanism.SOLUTION: In the control device for an automatic transmission in which a first transmission passage including the continuously variable transmission mechanism and a second transmission passage including the gear transmission mechanism are provided in parallel between an input shaft and an output shaft and which performs power transmission between the input shaft and the output shaft via one of the first transmission passage and the second transmission passage, adjusting means (Step S3) is provided for reducing the groove width of at least one of two pulleys of the continuously variable transmission mechanism to increase the belt clamping force of the continuously variable transmission mechanism when performing the power transmission via the second transmission passage.</p> |
