a supporting column; a securing assembly movably located on the supporting column at a predetermined height; and a pair of measuring elements secured on the securing assembly opposite to each other, the measuring elements emitting lasers to opposite sides of a workpiece positioned in a space therebetween and detecting the lasers reflected by opposite sides of the workpiece; wherein the measuring apparatus includes a control unit that calculates a time that each laser travels and determines a width of the workpiece based on the time. |
