PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an amount of sold electric power by a photovoltaic power generator by finishing the boiling-up at an appropriate time in consideration of variations in a power generation start time depending on the difference in the longitude and latitude of resident areas.SOLUTION: A heat pump hot water storage type water heater compatible with a photovoltaic power generator includes: boiling-up completion time setting means 51 for setting a target boiling-up completion time going back from a late-night time zone finish time; target heat quantity calculation means 55 for learning the heat quantity used until the previous day, and calculating a target heat quantity for the following day; boiling-up start time calculation means 56 for calculating a boiling-up start time to complete the boiling-up of the target heat quantity at the target boiling-up completion time; boiling-up control means 57 for starting the boiling-up at the boiling-up start time. The boiling-up completion time setting means 51 includes season information output means 52 for outputting date information or season information, and area information input means 53 for inputting the information indicating a setting area beforehand, and determines the target boiling-up completion time from the input area information and the date information or season information. |
