PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine manufacturing method capable of reusing a game machine housing at further low cost.SOLUTION: The game machine manufacturing method includes: performing a coating peeling process for a cabinet of a game machine housing in which a coating film is formed on a galvanized steel plate (S2); washing the cabinet from which the coating film is peeled off (S3); immersing the washed cabinet in a rust-preventive agent and rinsing it (S4); and recoating the rinsed cabinet (S5). In the coating peeling process (S2), the coating film of the cabinet is peeled off by using nonmethylene chloride-based paint stripper liquid whose hydrogen ion exponent is 11.3, and the galvanized film is left on the surface of the galvanized steel plate.
