1. An image processing apparatus comprising:
a moving unit configured to move an object including at least one element in a document in which the object is arranged in response to an instruction from a user; an acquiring unit configured to acquire information indicating the position in the document of an element included in the object moved on the document by the moving unit; a detecting unit configured to, if the object is moved to a boundary between two pages by the moving unit, detect at least one element that is included in the object and that corresponds to a break position of the two pages on the basis of the information acquired by the acquiring unit; a determining unit configured to determine a position where the at least one element detected by the detecting unit is arranged in the document so that the element is arranged in either of the two pages; and an output unit configured to output an image corresponding to the document in which the element is arranged at the position determined by the determining unit.
