<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for holding confidentiality of a printed document, even when test printing is performed according to a secure job. <P>SOLUTION: When authentication data input before printing according to a secure print job is authenticated, the printing is partially performed according to the secure print job (S1909). When the printing of the designated number of copies is to be performed after the above printing, the input of the authentication data is requested (S1914) in the prestage.
