A warning apparatus for sudden braking or collision is disclosed. The warning apparatus comprises a quick braking display device including at least one lamp; a sensor unit including at least one sensor among a deceleration detecting sensor detecting the degree of the deceleration of a vehicle, and an impact sensor detecting the degree of impact applied to the vehicle; and a controller controlling the quick braking display device to display flashing of the lamp and brightness of the lamp differently according to the deceleration degree or the impact degree detected by the sensor unit.
