PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal processing apparatus capable of efficiently emphasizing sounds in a target direction and collecting sounds while keeping stable audio quality even in a condition where the target sound is deviated from the target direction. SOLUTION: A main sound collecting signal generating unit 21 generates a main sound collecting signal Y<SB>M</SB>(t) having the maximum sound collecting sensitivity in a target direction and having a hyper-cardioid characteristic on the basis of the sound collecting signal. A first sub-sound collecting signal generating unit 22A generates a first sub-sound collecting signal Y<SB>S1</SB>(t) having the maximum sound collecting sensitivity in a target direction and having a cardioid characteristic on the basis of the sound collecting signal, and a second sub-sound collecting signal generating unit 22B generates a second sub-sound collecting signal Y<SB>S2</SB>(t) of omnidirectivity. An amplification rate determiner 23 determines an amplification rate G(t) on the basis of first and second sub-sound collecting signals Y<SB>S1</SB>(t), Y<SB>S2</SB>(t).
