The present invention relates to an electric wire drawing device and a method thereof, wherein a current is applied at the time of the cold drawing of a wire so as to improve formability and prevent the spring back phenomenon. The electric pipe drawing device can comprise: a first drawer for passing a moving workpiece in the shape of a wire and carrying out drawing-forming of the workpiece; a front roll electrode coming into rolling contact with the workpiece before the workpiece passes through the first drawer and electrically contacting the workpiece; a rear roll electrode coming into rolling contact with the workpiece after the workpiece passes through the first drawer and electrically contacting the workpiece; and a first electricity supply part for generating a potential difference between the front roll electrode and the rear roll electrode such that the current is applied to the workpiece between the front roll electrode and the rear roll electrode.
