Plant growth regulation composition

Provided are plant growth regulation compositions comprising a plant growth regulator, a surfactant and optionally an agriculturally acceptable carrier. The surfactant is a branched non-ionic alcohol ethoxylate having an alkyl chain length of 8 carbon atoms, an average of from 1 to 7 propylene oxide units, and an average of from 4 to 9 ethylene oxide units. A preferred surfactant is 2-ethyl hexanol 6PO-8EO. Preferred plant growth regulators include trinexapac-ethyl, prohexadione-calcium and chlormequat-chloride.Further provided are methods for enhancing or regulating the growth of plants comprising applying said composition.
