<p>A smartphone of the present invention comprises: a communication unit for a communication as a mobile communication device; a user interface unit for receiving diverse signals from a user; a microphone unit for receiving a voice of the user; a speaker unit for generating a sound signal; a storage unit for storing various applications; a vibration unit for generating a vibration; a GPS module unit for detecting the current location of the smartphone; a controller for controlling all aforementioned units; a main battery for supplying power to the smartphone; and an auxiliary battery configured to supply power if a remaining amount of the main battery is lower than a preset range. According to the present invention, it is possible to supply power through the auxiliary battery if a remaining amount of the main battery is lower than the preset range, whereby replacement of batteries can be performed without discontinuing the supply of power. In addition, if the remaining amount of the main battery is lower than the preset range, the user can be informed of that through various ways.
