<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a filter element 3.SOLUTION: A volume chamber 16 is communicated with a first air chamber 4 positioned at an upstream side of a filter element 3 through a partitioning plate 15 provided with a plurality of through holes 17. The partitioning plate 15 is opposed to an air inlet opening 14, orthogonal to the flow of the air introduced to the first air chamber 4 from the air inlet opening 14, and positioned so at not to be in parallel with the filter element 3. Thus dust separating when the air introduced to the first air chamber 4 collides with the partitioning plate 15, is sucked to a volume chamber 16 side from the through holes 17, a part of the dust in the air can be separated and held in the volume chamber 16, and the filter element 3 can be relatively miniaturized without degrading a dust holding capacity of an air cleaner 1.</p> |
