PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating element capable of achieving size and thickness reductions in an ion generator while suppressing reduction in an ion generating amount.SOLUTION: The ion generating element 100 includes: a first discharge electrode 152a and a second discharge electrode 152b for generating ions by performing discharging through voltage application, and a high-voltage side circuit board 130 on which the first discharge electrode 152a and the second discharge electrode 152b are mounted. Each of the first discharge electrode 152a and the second discharge electrode 152b has a needle-like shape with a tapered front end and inclines to the high-voltage side circuit board 130. |
