PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight detecting sensor capable of accurately detecting weight of an occupant in a case of relative angular displacement in a floor-side fixing member or a sheet-side fixing member.SOLUTION: A weight detecting sensor comprises: a strain body extending in a longitudinal direction and fixed to a floor-side fixing member; a connecting member fixed to a central part of the strain body and a sheet-side fixing member; and a wheatstone bridge circuit having a first strain detecting element and a third strain detecting element facing each other and a second strain detecting element and a fourth strain detecting element facing each other, each detecting element forming a variable resistor. With relative angular displacement exerted between the sheet-side fixing member and the floor-side fixing member, the first strain detecting element is affixed to the first tension position where the strain body is deformed under tension, the third strain detecting element is affixed to the first compression position where the strain body is deformed under compression, the second strain detecting element is affixed to the second compression position where the strain body is deformed under compression, the fourth strain detecting element is affixed to the second tension position where the strain body is deformed under tension, the first to fourth strain detecting elements are affixed, equally spaced apart from the central line in the longitudinal direction on both sides. |
