<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base isolation device capable of easily coping with not only a heavy load but also a light load.SOLUTION: A base isolation device includes a slide plate, a retainer, and a base plate. The slide plate, the retainer, and the base plate have a magnet generating attraction force in the center. The slide plate and the base plate respectively have an upper plate 23 and a lower plate 43 having opposite magnetic polarity to that of the magnet around the magnet. The retainer is movable in a horizontal direction by a rolling element 35. The rolling element 35 is a high magnetic permeability material part, and can be rolled between the upper plate 23 and the lower plate 43. A supporting part 33 is a low magnetic permeability material part, and supports the rolling element 35 so as to be rolled. Thereby, a magnetic circuit is formed around the supporting part 33, and magnetic attraction force can be efficiently generated.</p> |
