<p>The present invention relates to a lighting device comprising: lighting means, and adjustment means operable to control the lighting means to set the luminous emittance of light from the lighting means. The lighting device further comprises sensing means operable to detect the illuminance of light at a surface, and whereby the adjustment means is operable to set the luminous emittance of light from the lighting means according to the sensed illuminance. The device intelligently adjusts the brightness levels, based on information it senses about light levels and user presence.</p> |
