A package assembly for processing a plurality of transaction cards at a point of sale comprising: at least two transaction cards; a package for securing the plurality of transaction cards; wherein each of the plurality of transaction cards comprises a unique transaction card identifier and wherein each unique transaction card identifier corresponds to a unique account; an identifier associated with the package, unique to the package, and separate from the transaction cards, wherein the unique identifier associated with the package provides for activation of the plurality of transaction cards.
