The present invention provides a compound needle of a flat machine. When a needle latch of a guide needle sheet gets over a needle hook of a needle body to enter into a tooth mouth, combing amount of triangles receiving guiding can be fully ensured. In a rear square arm (15c) of a basal body (15) of the guide needle sheet (13), a step (15d) is arranged on the rear part, and a gap between a branch arm (6d) of a needle jack (6) between the rear side of the step (15d). When the needle latch (4a) gets over a needle hook (2a) to enter the tooth mouth(14), only the branch arm(6d) is relative to the rear side of the step (15d). Even the needle jack (6) is sunk toward a needle grove (10), the rear square arm (15c) which is relative to the branch arm (6d) and has a larger gap (S) with the rear side of the step(15d) is difficult to sink, thus the sinking amount of a needle butt (15b) is small, and combining amount of triangles can be fully ensured. |
