PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-dip galvannealed steel sheet containing high Mn amount, capable of promoting alloying of the hot-dip galvannealed steel sheet by suppressing generation of an oxide layer containing Mn, Cr and Si causing irregular alloying or non-galvannealing, and having less non-galvannealing or irregular alloying, and excellent surface appearance. SOLUTION: In the hot-dip galvannealed steel sheet containing 2.0-3.5 mass% Mn, a compound oxide layer 2 containing≥5 mass% Mn, Cr and Si in total and 0.01-1μm in thickness is formed on an interface between a hot-dip galvannealed layer 3 and the steel sheet 1. The length of the compound oxide layer 2 on an optional line of the interface between the hot-dip galvannealed layer 3 and the steel sheet 1 is <10% of the total length of the interface.
