PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable knitted fabric without requiring edge finishing off while being kept in a cut state irrespective of the cutting direction relatively to the knitting direction, to provide a stretchable knitted fabric without curling the edge of the knitted fabric and to further provide a stretchable knitted fabric suitably used as inner wear such as a camisole or a girdle, outer wear such as a shirt or sports wear such as a leotard or swim wear. SOLUTION: The stretchable knitted fabric is obtained by using composite yarns composed of elastic fibers and non-elastic fibers. The knitted structure has an interlock knitted structure. In the stretchable knitted fabric, the elastic fibers are polyurethane elastic fibers and the non-elastic fibers are thermoplastic synthetic fibers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
