<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cooling efficiency in a secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: Each of battery cells 20 of the secondary battery comprises a battery cell case 50 having such a structure that it is divided into expansion parts 71 and non-expansion parts 72. In a battery module 10 of the secondary battery, the battery cells 20 are arranged so that surfaces facing each other of adjacent battery cells 20 are the non-expansion parts 72 and the outside of the battery module 10 is the expansion parts 71. When the internal pressure of the battery cells 20 rises, spaces 80 provided between the battery cells 20 are not closed, and thus air flows around the battery cells 20, thereby allowing efficient cooling. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
